A message from our Principal

Welcome to Laguna Street Public School.

Our school prides itself on providing broad and engaging learning experiences in a safe and positive learning environment.  We understand that for our students to succeed in a changing world, more than ever they need strong literacy and numeracy skills as well as a disposition towards continual learning, problem solving, critical thinking and entrepreneurialism. We are focused on outstanding academic achievement and learning growth for all, yet we offer opportunities for our students to excel in a range of activities including debating and public speaking, coding and robotics, sport and the arts.

We value and celebrate diversity, recognising that students are individuals with different interests, needs and backgrounds.  Our teachers are passionate, life-long learners, engaging in ongoing professional development and data informed practice based on evidence. We have a very active P&C and supportive parent community.

Our reputation and results speak volumes:  Laguna Street staff, students and parents give their best in all endeavours and work in partnership to provide our children with a world-class education. Together we nurture confident, community-focused learners and leaders from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Our friendly office staff are ready to take your questions about enrolling your child at our school. Please see further information about enrolment in at primary school enrolment and NSW Government enrolment policy

I look forward to welcoming you into our learning community.
